In March 2020 make sure you check the airwaves as your Monday night duo of Gareth and Sab re-unite for the launch and recording of their new weekly Podcast “The F1NAL Word” – After successfully joining forces in 2019 the two adapted the Invictus “Inside Track” Podcast and brought with it back their own flair and poor “comedic” style. The podcast ran well, and over 24 episodes covered the 2019 Formula One World Championship. Once the season ended, they went away and have been working on bringing it back in a bigger and better way straight to your listening devices!
Starting with a ‘Pre-season special’ episode in early March 2020 – The F1NAL Word will be the place to hear about the world of Formula One, whether it be on or off-track antics from the drivers and teams across the 2020 Formula One World Championship.
You’re almost certain to hear a rant from one of them each week, but they give their spin on the crazy world of F1, and in the past have discussed future world-champions, sponsor controversy and what the make up of the 2021 F1 grid may look like.
It brings with it a new segment “A minute in history”, where one of the two will be given a race to describe from the historical archives of Formula One in one minute or less. Perhaps Sab’s explanation of the 1985 South African Grand Prix, or Gareth’s take on the 2012 Indian Grand Prix will help you explore the history into the sport we all love and do some investigating yourself.
If you can’t join them for the live recording on Thursday then the Podcast has been made available on Podcast sites such as Podbean, Soundcloud, Spotify, whilst the video is also uploaded to YouTube. (Links below)
